Howdy! I run a 2 provider DPC practice with my partner (both MDs, partner is functional medicine trained as well) in Missoula, MT that we opened last fall and have already outgrown our space (currently doubling the clinic from 6 to 12 exam rooms) and almost filled our panels! We need to hire a doc sometime in the next few months, and I have no idea where to start that search. We've got a few other docs in the pipeline that we're planning to hire over the next few years as they finish their PSLF requirements, but we need someone before that! I'm not sure if it's kosher to post this kind of thing here, but figured I'd give it a shot.
Currently we work 4.5 days per week, 6 patients per day (hour long visits only), but anticipate going to a 3.5 or maybe even 3 day work week with 8 patients per day as we expand. ~500 patient panel is full but general comp will eventually be based on 75% of revenue generated after overhead, anticipated salary of $300k+. We can start with that model if desired or salary at $220k for 2 years then move to eat what you kill. Partner option available with negotiable buy-in after 2 year employee agreement. We compensate our MA's fantastically, have a business manager, and have a gorgeous custom built clinic space with 20 foot ceilings on top of a hill with panoramic views. It's truly the best possible place to work!
